Brow Lamination

£35
45 mins

Brow lamination is a setting treatment that lifts and smooths your natural brow hairs, so they sit neatly in your chosen shape. It is ideal if your brows grow in different directions, drop at the tails, or feel hard to style day to day. In our Grange Park, Northampton salon, we talk through the finish you want first, from soft and natural to a more brushed up look, then carefully set the hairs and condition them so brows feel comfortable afterwards.

More information

What your Brow Lamination appointment includes

Brow lamination is all about making your own brows easier to live with, especially if you are forever brushing them into place.

  • A brow consultation to check your natural growth pattern and agree the shape and direction.
  • Cleansing and prep of the brow area for an even set.
  • Controlled application of the lifting and setting solutions.
  • Styling the brow hairs into position for your chosen finish.
  • A nourishing step to condition the hairs after processing.
  • Simple aftercare guidance, including the first 24 hours.
  • Optional extras, like a brow tint or a tidy, can be discussed if you would like a more defined result.

Brow lamination for unruly, flat, or uneven brows

Brow lamination works well if your brows are wiry, have gaps, or sit differently from one side to the other. It is also a good option if you like the look of a fuller brow but want it to feel believable, not overdone. If your brow area is sensitive, or the skin is irritated, we will advise whether it is best to wait.

The brow lamination process, from prep to the final set

We start by talking through how you normally wear your brows and what you find tricky, like tails that drop or hairs that stick out. The products are then applied in timed steps to soften the hairs, set them into a new direction, and condition them afterwards. If a patch test is needed, we will let you know before your appointment.

Aftercare for laminated brows, keeping them smooth for longer

For the first 24 hours, keep your brows dry and avoid steam, heavy workouts, and rich skincare over the brow area. After that, a quick brush through each morning is usually all that is needed to keep the shape looking tidy. If you use oils or oil based cleansers around the brows, try to keep them off the brow hairs as they can make them drop sooner.

Frequently Asked Questions

How long does brow lamination last?
Most people find the lifted shape lasts around 4 to 6 weeks, depending on brow hair growth and aftercare. We can recommend a rebooking point based on how quickly your brows return to their natural direction.
Will brow lamination make my brows look too bold?
It does not have to. We can keep the finish soft and natural, or go more brushed up, and you can still adjust the look at home with a light brush through or a little clear gel.
Do I need a patch test before brow lamination?
A patch test may be needed, especially if you are new to the treatment or adding a tint. We will advise when you book, it is a quick step that helps keep things safe and comfortable.
What should I avoid after brow lamination?
Avoid getting your brows wet, steaming your face, or using oily products over the brow area for the first 24 hours. After that, keep them brushed into place and try not to saturate the brow hairs with rich skincare.
Can I have brow lamination if I use retinol or have sensitive skin?
If you use retinoids, exfoliating acids, or you have irritation, eczema, or broken skin around the brows, it may be better to wait. Let us know what you are using and we will advise on the safest timing.
